EYEBROW LASER PREP + AFTERCARE

PREPARATION

There are some steps you’ll need to take before your first treatment. If you want to see the best results, make sure to follow your technician’s orders.

Your skin mustn’t be tanned or sunburned in any way (this includes self-tanners and spray tans). Several weeks before treatment, take extra precautions to protect yourself from the sun. Wear sunscreen every time you go outdoors.

Make sure you’re properly hydrated when you go into each session. If you’re a smoker, now is the perfect time to quit. The healing process will be easier and faster if you don’t smoke.

In the days leading up to your treatment, avoid shaving, waxing, and exfoliating the area. It’s also vital that you don’t take any aspirin or anti-inflammatory drugs, as these can sometimes increase bleeding.

HEALING PROCESS

The tattoo removal process is quick and only slightly uncomfortable. However, it is normal to experience some side effects.

Some people may see redness, swelling, and slight blistering in the treated area. On some occasions, you may see temporary lightening or darkening of the skin.

These side effects are common, especially in the first few hours after treatment, but they will subside.

AFTERCARE

Treatment sessions are minimum of 6 weeks apart whether it is removal sessions or new tattoo session.

You should also avoid using creams unless instructed by your technician. If you use any skincare products regularly, ask the technician if it’s okay to continue using them.

You can shower and wash the area, but avoid high-pressure water. Hydrate by drinking lots of water and limit your alcohol intake. The stronger your immune system is, the faster you’ll see results.

It’s also important to avoid sun exposure as much as possible. Cover the area with sunscreen any time you plan to go out in the sun.
