RESTRICTIONS

PERMANENT MAKEUP RESTRICTIONS

RESTRICTIONS APPLY IF YOU ARE UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:

 

  • Pregnant/Nursing

  • Under the age of 18 years old

  • Undergoing chemotherapy, have diabetes, epilepsy, MS or an autoimmune disease (please consult with your physician for approval of services and upload physician approval upon booking).

  • For PMU only, use of Accutane or any similar acne medications within the past year, use of retin A in the past 4 weeks, laser treatment or chemical peel on treatment area in the past 4 weeks.

 

If you have any medical conditions, medications, or are undergoing treatment that is in question please contact us.

FOR NEW PERMANENT MAKEUP SERVICE ONLY, if you have previous work, whether it is "completely faded," or you have had removal treatment, please send clear pictures, in good lighting with no filter or makeup on area of treatment through DM on Instagram to @essemedspa for approval BEFORE booking an appointment.

 

Deposits are non-refundable and will be forfeited along with being charged for the full service if you show up to your appointment without consent of previous work, or if you have a restricted medical condition without physician’s approval of receiving treatment.

TERMS + CONDITIONS

APPOINTMENT POLICY

  • All appointments require a non-refundable booking fee which can be applied towards booked treatment.

  • Your card will be charged right away for the booking fee every time an appointment is booked.

  • Payments rendered are non-refundable under any circumstance (includes booking fee + prepaid treatments).

  • No guests (including kids + pets).

LATE/RESCHEDULE POLICY

  • Any changes to an appointment must be made through phone call/voicemail/text to 303 900 8833.

  • We kindly request a minimum 7 day notice to reschedule any appointments. If you reschedule less than a 7 day notice of booked treatment, you will be charged a late cancellation fee of 50% of the booked treatment.

  • Please be on time to your appointment. If you are 10 minutes or more late, your appointment will be cancelled and will be marked as a "no show." Clients who are late to their appointment can result in insufficient time for proper thorough treatment and can cause a huge delay for subsequent appointments thereafter.

  • Any changes to a booked appointment made 72 hours or less from booked treatment time, will be marked as a “no show” and will be charged for the full treatment cost. This includes same day cancellations - Changes includes reschedules and cancellations. 72 hours or less is too short of a notice for your reserved appointment time, please plan accordingly.

  • If your appointment is marked as a "no show," the booking fee, or any prepayments made will be forfeited and you will be charged for the full missed treatment. In the case of a prepaid treatment, that treatment will be forfeited.

  • Appointment reschedule/cancellation due to being sick or any medical reasons must provide a doctors note within the same week of notification to info@essemedspa.com and the cancellation fee will be refunded within 5-7 business days.

DISCLAIMER

ALL TREATMENTS

  • All results may vary depending on and not limited to skin type, age, scarring, diet, health, stress levels, proper pre and post care, and facial products used. These are some factors that all play a key role in your results, which is why it is important to know that more than one treatment may be required.

  • Clients with history of no shows can only book future appointments if paid in full.

  • Treatments rendered can not be refunded under any circumstance. Appointments are very thorough and client’s honesty is very important for proper treatment. We are open to feedback during the consultation process and it is highly encouraged, therefore, in consenting to be treated, it is important that client understands and accepts this policy.

  • We are not held liable for any thing that the client did not disclose to us during consultation process or any thing that the client is “unaware” of. This does not result in a refund of treatment if there is an adverse reaction due to non-disclosure and the “unknown.”

  • Pre and post care information is available in your e-mail for easy access and it is your responsibility to take care of your treatment accordingly.

  • Prices and policies are subject to change at any time without notice. If treatment is already booked there will not be an effect on price.

  • All photos and videos taken during the appointment will be used for social media and marketing purposes excluding cosmetic injectable treatments without consent.

  • We have the right to refuse, ban or fire a client for any reason whether treatment has been completed or not. This will not result in a refund.

  • All the above included.

  • Touch up is not included. Touch ups are $200 - $250+

  • We are not liable to any changes wanting to be made to micropigmentation once the final decision was approved during consultation. Please thoroughly review the drawn shape prior to starting the procedure.
